Calzaturificio Monti

About Us

A productive history, characterized by a deep Italian spirit since 1974, when Franco and Maria Monti in a small factory, in the hinterland of Romagna, realized the first models of summer and sanitary slippers intended only for a male audience; Over time, the production converges towards models of summer sandals and slippers created mainly for female customers.

1974 is also the year in which Gessica was born, the second of four children who grew up breathing passion and dedication to the work of their parents. Towards the 90s Gessica, together with his brother Michele, became part of the company, bringing innovation in creating models of great comfort, designed and packaged manually, with extreme care and attention, in every phase of processing: from the choice of leather, to the seam of the sole, to the cut.

Model after model, the shoes of the Monti Footwear Factory have been able to stand out over the years for the ability to communicate, in every detail, the strong attachment to the Italian footwear tradition, realizing the desires and aspirations of all women, thanks to the courage to experiment with a refined and innovative design.

This “tailor-made” production entirely Italian, made by skilled workers, guarantees the high quality of the final product, which sees the company for over 40 years engaged in the constant enhancement and defense of craft skills and Italian creativity, as well as the resources of the territory. In the long years of activity the Monti family has been able to grasp the changes of a footwear market in continuous evolution, directing its attention both to the tastes of a young audience and receptive to the most modern trends, that to the needs and ambitions of the most demanding woman, who is looking for a shoe as beautiful as practical and comfortable.
